April is National Volunteer Month, and to celebrate we’re shining a light on our absolutely awesome food pantry volunteers!
You’ve probably heard us say that we don’t just provide homes for our families…we provide them the tools they need to become self-sufficient. One way we try to do this is by building community, so that families at Hope Gardens and Hope Forest can learn from and support each other on their journeys.
We’re holding two raffles at our golf outing on May 23, but you don’t have to be there to win! It’s a great (and fun!) way to help the families in our housing programs and the clients we serve at the Food Pantry.
You might have heard that Hope on Fifth, a house with two apartments in Lansdale, will join Hope Forest as an additional location for our Supportive Housing Program, for families who need just light support as they transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Is your church, synagogue, mosque, or other place of worship looking for a hands-on way to give back? If you are, we need you! We’re recruiting new host congregations for our Interfaith Hospitality Network.
