Mission, Vision, and Values

Our Mission

Family Promise Montco PA partners with the community to address homelessness and hunger—one family at a time.

Our Vision

A community where neighbors come together to ensure that every family has a home, enough nutritious food, and the chance to build a better future.

We believe that:

All people deserve safe, affordable, and adequate housing; enough nutritious food; and the chance to thrive.

Every person, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, age, gender, or sexual orientation, should be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Our community is stronger when we work together toward shared goals.

With support, families can heal from the trauma of homelessness.

Our Values

Our employees and volunteers embody these values:

Belonging. We celebrate diversity and actively promote equity, inclusion, and belonging through our policies, procedures, decisions, and interactions.

Compassion. We provide personalized, trauma-informed care with empathy and compassion.

Collaboration. We build bridges among neighbors, bringing together existing resources to prevent and resolve homelessness and food insecurity in Montgomery County, and empowering all stakeholders—families, volunteers, donors, community members, businesses, and government officials—to change their communities.

Solutions. We advocate for systemic change to address housing and food insecurity. Our services and leadership are innovative, dynamic, resilient, and future-focused, providing customized and evolving solutions in response to local needs.

Excellence. We are consistently professional, competent, honest, and creative.

Gratitude. We are grateful for community support and manage resources responsibly.
