Mission

Our Mission

Family Promise Montco PA (formerly Inter-Faith Housing Alliance) partners with the community to address homelessness and hunger—one family at a time.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Homelessness and hunger do not discriminate, and we don’t either. We want everyone to feel like they belong and are important, no matter who they are or where they’re from. We want to make sure that everyone has a chance to be part of our community, no matter their background, beliefs, or challenges. We believe it’s up to us to create and encourage positive changes in our community. We are unwavering in our dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our Vision

We envision a world where:
Safe, stable, affordable housing is accessible to all families.
Homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
All people have access to enough nutritious food.
Food insecurity is quickly and fully addressed.
Organizations are collaborative and resilient to effectively deliver innovative solutions to homelessness and hunger.

Our Values

We believe in:

Justice: Homelessness and food insecurity should be eliminated.

Opportunity: Families deserve second chances so that they can become self-sufficient and independent.

Responsibility: Communities share the responsibility of ensuring the welfare of all of its members.

Partnership: Organizations should be transparent and work together.

Service: People serve because they are called to serve.

Inclusion: All people should be respected, included, empathized with, and provided outstanding service regardless of who they are.
