Did you know that Inter-Faith Housing Alliance has a food cupboard located inside a section of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Abington?
Surrounded by elected officials and community members, the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler (FPCA) presented a $300,000 donation to the Inter-Faith Housing Alliance during a press conference Thursday, April 28, 2016. The donation was used to purchase a two-unit home at 330 Forest Avenue in Ambler that will provide a new home for two families in transition to self-sufficiency.

This National Volunteer Week, I’d like to shine a spotlight on all the congregations in our network.
Like many nonprofits, Inter-Faith was founded by passionate community members volunteering their time to help an under-served population in our area.
First and foremost, Upper Dublin Lutheran Church seeks to “become faithful servants glorifying God, by leading people to Jesus, by ministering to our community and world with good works, and by empowering disciples for Christ” and they go about this in some wonderful and surprising ways.
Our golf outing is one of the most fun events we hold all year- and you don’t have to be a golfer to join in the festivities!
