Thank Yous to and from the Food Pantry

We want to share a thank you note we received from a pantry client, because it’s really for you…our donors and volunteers, who keep the pantry running:

“We are writing to express our deepest thanks for your Food Pantry and your many acts of kindness! Your kind support has repeatedly assisted our family. The food, essentials, and most recently the generous gift basket are so helpful to us during a financial hardship and these difficult times. You and all of your volunteers are so kind and thoughtful. The kidney transplant our Dad and husband has received, although truly a blessing, has been a long journey to improved health. Your kindness has really lightened the load, caretaking, and especially our hearts. Many thanks again!”

And even more thanks: Last month we received two huge donations—one from our friends at the Abington Environmental Advisory Council, who collected 295 pounds of food and $867.94 at their electronics recycling day, and another from Copper Beach Elementary School, whose community contributed 308.5 pounds of personal hygiene items. We’re so grateful for your partnership!
