With food prices rising, we’re seeing a big jump in demand at the Food Pantry. We had 52 cars come through one Saturday this month! Thank you for being there to help us meet this growing need. If you’re thinking of making a donation this month, here are the items we’re looking for:

URGENT NEED: LARGE BROWN PAPER GROCERY BAGS

ALSO NEEDED:

Coffee and tea
Baking items: mixes, oils, cooking spray, icing, sugar, flour, etc.
Canned meat
Peanut butter and jelly
Smucker’s Goober peanut butter and jelly
Tomato sauce and tomato products: diced, crushed, stewed, etc.
Pasta
Canned pasta: Chef Boyardee, SpaghettiOs, etc.
Granola and cereal bars
Pancake mix and syrup
Oatmeal
Macaroni and cheese
Boxes and/or packets of potatoes
Rice
Ramen noodles
Sweet and salty snacks: crackers, cookies, trail mix, chips, etc.
Salad dressing
Condiments: mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce
Canned fruit and vegetables
Juice bottles or boxes
Diapers and wipes
Feminine products
Paper products: toilet paper, paper towels, tissues
Laundry detergent
Cleaning products
Hand and bar soap
Shampoo and conditioner

The pantry is located at 2801 Woodland Road, Roslyn, on the campus of Salem Baptist Church.
Donations are accepted on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. Please ensure that all items have labels, are within the expiration date, and are properly sealed.
Food distribution occurs on Mondays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm.
