10 Jan Happy Holidays From the Food Pantry
…and a special thank you to the Abington Township Environmental Advisory Council! We were grateful to receive nearly $700 in cash and turkey vouchers from the drive that was held at their “Anything With a Plug” recycling event last month. Thanks also go to one of our longtime supporters, Jim Salanik, who collected the donations and brought them to the pantry. Abington’s drive came just when we needed it most, with the busy holiday season upon us. With your support, we supplied the fixings for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner to 190 families!
If you’d like to donate, this month we’re needing to stock up on personal care/toiletry items; to see a list of the items we are always collecting, please visit our website. We are very grateful for your donations. You are the reason we are able to keep the pantry running and provide food for our community. Thank you!
The pantry is located at 2801 Woodland Road, Roslyn, on the campus of Salem Baptist Church.
