24 May Celebrating Our New Pantry Location

We had a ribbon-cutting at the new location of the food pantry a few weeks ago to celebrate and show off our big, beautiful new space! We couldn’t be more grateful to Salem Baptist Church for offering us space, to Philabundance for making the renovation possible, and to our volunteers for all of their help before, during, and after the move. It was quite a renovation! Just take a look at the before and after photos—note the dirt floor!

With all of this space, we do have a few empty spots to fill! If you’d like to donate this month, here are the items that we need now and will need in the upcoming months:

Coffee
Tea
Baking items: mixes, oils, cooking spray, icing, sugar, flour, etc
Yellow cake mix
Cinnamon
Canned meat
Peanut butter and jelly
Tomato sauce and tomato products: diced, crushed, stewed, etc.
Canned pasta: Chef Boyardee, Spaghetti O’s, etc.
Granola and cereal bars
Pancake mix and syrup
Oatmeal
Boxes and/or packets of potatoes
Rice
Ramen noodles
Sweet and salty snacks: crackers, cookies, trail mix, chips, etc.
Condiments
Ranch salad dressing
Blue cheese salad dressing
Juice bottles or boxes
Baby wipes
Feminine products
Paper products: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins
Laundry detergent
Dish detergent
Cleaning products
Hand and bar soap
Shampoo and conditioner
Toothpaste and toothbrushes
Large brown grocery bags

Thank you for your support as we work together to ensure that everyone in our community has the food they need.

The pantry is located at 2801 Woodland Road, Roslyn, on the campus of Salem Baptist Church.

Donations are accepted on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. Please ensure that all items have labels, are within the expiration date, and are properly sealed.

Food distribution occurs on Mondays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm.
