A note from the Food Cupboard

We had a smashing success with our Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service at the Cupboard! 27 members of Salem Baptist Church, including Pastor Mitchell; Cupboard volunteers; PA Rep. Ben Sanchez and his wife Karen; Abington Commissioner John Spiegelman; and Inter-Faith’s Executive Director Marsha Eichelberger all came out to volunteer. We took in 2-1/2 TONS of food donations and completely revamped our inventory organization! This amazing generosity means that we are in need of just a few specific items right now:

– Peanut butter
– Jelly
– Pasta
– Pasta sauce
– Canned diced tomatoes
– Chili or beef stew or Spam
– Hamburger helper or taco meal kits
– Pancake mix and syrup
– Laundry detergent

Please bring items within their expiration dates and unopened, unless packaged individually.
