The Annual Point-in-Time Count

Every January, all across the U.S., volunteers fan out across neighborhoods to count the number of individuals who are unhoused—it’s called the Point-in-Time (PIT) Count. Montgomery County’s PIT Count is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, January 24. The PIT Count helps to determine which services are most needed in the community and to secure funding for homelessness services and programming.
