March’s Financial Fitness education program

Thank you to everyone who helped make March’s Financial Fitness education program such a success! Everyone learned so much from our friends at Woodforest Bank and the other programming aimed at helping our families figure out the often overwhelming world of personal finance. The program was such a hit that we are extending it to the littlest members of our Inter-Faith family! This month, we will be working one on one with the children in our program to develop early financial skills. We’ll help them understand how investing our money, our time, even our bodies wisely leads to good decision making and will help them be self- sufficient in the future. It isn’t easy putting off what we want now for what we want most, but we know that the earlier we start these lessons the easier it will be.

We’re starting to fill up the rest of the year’s programming but there’s still room for you! Do you have a skill or passion you’d like to share with our families? Please contact Tiffany Jones at (215) 628-2334 or TJones@fpmontco.org . And remember, once a month there is a larger, longer meeting where we share a meal and celebrate that month’s birthdays. If you organization would like to help us with dinner and childcare for these events, please let us know!
