Can you help?

For many of us, summer is a time away… freedom from school and the early buzz of our alarm clocks. Maybe a trip to the shore or another favorite vacation spot.

Summer is a very different time for the families of Inter-Faith. Instead of relaxation and recharging, these families face added stress and anxiety as school ends. Since their children qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch at school, summer means the elimination of 10 meals a week—a huge strain on an already limited budget. Families may also need to find alternative daytime activities and manage the costs associated with them.

Can you help? Our families need summer items like:

– Beach towels
– Sunscreen
– Summer toys (think jump ropes, Frisbees, hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, or bubbles)
– Sun Hats or Visors
– Sunglasses
– Or a gift card to Walmart for families to choose these items for themselves.

If you can supply these, please contact our Community Resource Manager, Sue Zomberg, at sue@fpmontco.org.

Some children also need swimsuits. If you would like help here, please contact Caroline Theis, our Case Manager, at ctheis@fpmontco.org, for detailed information.

Thank you for your generosity to our families!
