08 Dec Outflow of kindness from our community
…a message from Executive Director Marsha Eichelberger
Every year during the holidays, I am overwhelmed — in the most amazing way possible — by the outflow of kindness from our community. Montgomery County residents, congregations, and businesses are generous every single day of the year; but during the holidays, your commitment to helping our neighbors resolve their homelessness and food insecurity is more noticeable than ever. All of the gifts that you have shared with Inter-Faith Housing Alliance and our families this holiday season are very much appreciated. It takes a great deal of courage and compassion to think of others while you are enjoying the holidays with your family, surrounded by the comforts of home.
I feel incredibly grateful to know each of you and am honored to be touched, even if only in a very small and indirect way, by your involvement with Inter-Faith and our families. You can’t imagine how great it feels to go to work every day, help people make positive changes in their lives, and know that the entire community is participating to help people achieve their goals. You are right there with us, every step of the way. Our organization would not be able to have the significant impact that it has on families without your partnership. We are truly fortunate to have you as a friend and ally in this important work.
Best wishes for a happy, healthy holiday season! We look forward to our continued partnership in 2018.
