03 Oct Volunteer Spotlight: Rose Rivera-Hrosik

Rose has been a faithful office volunteer for about two years, recently reaching the remarkable milestone of 1000 volunteer hours! She’s given us these thousand hours mostly on Thursdays and Fridays but is the first to fill in on other days when asked.

Rose is a special delight to all who know her. Many people call us at the lowest, scariest points in their lives; others aren’t even sure what questions to ask or what help to offer. Rose greets each call unfalteringly with a happy, helpful voice that brightens everyone’s day. In addition, her stellar office skills have helped us enter tons of volunteers, donors, and donations into our tracking system.
