MLK day of service

Employees from Dudnyk, the Horsham-based healthcare advertising firm; managers from area Starbucks stores; and members of the Young Lawyers Section of the Montgomery Bar Association came together on Martin Luther King Day to celebrate his legacy by giving their time and energy to help the families of Inter-Faith.

The groups hauled furniture donations, rearranged our family resource room, and organized our donation storage room. They also helped put together the “basic needs bundles”—sheets, comforter, pillow, and towel—given to each person entering shelter. They prepared grocery bags for the spring “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive. No job was too large (or too small…they even assembled a bicycle for one of our residents)! We’re so very grateful for all their hard work.
