Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive

Carol Axelrod was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2003, resulting in a long battle with multiple treatments and many, many blood transfusions. The generosity of blood donors extended her life an additional year, allowing her to meet her granddaughter and make many precious memories for her family. The memorial blood drive in her name honors the many blood donors who made this last year possible, and allows other families more time with loved ones and a chance at recovery.

To further encourage community involvement, Carol’s family will be making a donation to Inter-Faith Housing Alliance for every unit of blood donated. Change lives in multiple ways—register to donate today! Learn more and register at chablooddrive.org
