Did you know that one out of every five people who is homeless is a child? Or that families with children make up nearly 35% of the people in this country who are homeless? Family homelessness is a national problem that Family Promise addresses.

Inter-Faith Housing Alliance is one of 200-plus Family Promise programs across the country. Family Promise affiliates unite the faith community to help children and their families who are homeless. Family Promise Week, October 21-28, raises awareness about the issue of homelessness and celebrates our partnering congregations’ service of our brothers and sisters in need.
