We work better together.

…a message from Executive Director Marsha Eichelberger

al·li·ance: a union or association formed for mutual benefit, especially between countries or organizations; a relationship based on an affinity in interests, nature, or qualities.

We work better together. I’ve always thought this is true; in fact I think we are designed to work together, to need each other. It is also why Inter-Faith is so successful—as an alliance of congregations and community organizations, Inter-Faith achieves far more as a collective than our members ever could individually.

I’ve been thinking about this spirit of collaboration a lot lately as we’ve had great opportunities to help out other community organizations. Among others, we’re excited that Lei’s place is now being used by the WAC Cares Homework Club and that we’ve successfully completed our first Mental Health First Aid training session. We benefit so much from our community and it’s an honor to give back. There’s a lot of need in our community, but there are also a lot of good people doing great work. We’re happy to be counted among them.
