…a message from Executive Director Marsha Eichelberger

We have come up with so many great ideas over the years. Unfortunately, there are many steps from good idea to successful implementation, and they all require time, effort, and funding—commodities we are always short on. But sometimes, everything falls perfectly into place.

Last month we mentioned our partnership with the University of Pennsylvania to provide mental health services to our residents. As part of this initiative, we had hoped to offer Mental Health First Aid workshops to our partner congregations and, eventually, the general public. We’re happy to announce it’s happening soon!

We will hold the first of four Mental Health First Aid workshops this fall at First Presbyterian Church of Ambler. This session is offered at no charge! We hope more congregations will be able to take advantage of this program, and eventually we will offer it to the general public.

I’m so proud we’re part of providing this vital service. Here’s to healthier communities in every way!
