15 Jan A happy and safe new year
…a message from Executive Director Marsha Eichelberger
I hope you’re all settling into a happy and safe new year, and that the winter season thus far has revealed, in abundance, ways for you to access and spread your inner lights. January may cast more frigid threats to security over our community, but the commitment you continue to share with one another and with Inter-Faith will keep our collective resilience going strong.
As we greet the new opportunities and challenges that accompany a new year, I’d like to first offer a heartfelt thank you to last year’s Interfaith Hospitality Network congregations—the hosts and helpers who make our emergency shelter possible. Your unwavering support and dedication to empowering our families are what boost our mission each and every day, and I hope you’ll stay on this journey with us.
With that said, I’m excited to announce that Inter-Faith has begun looking for one new host congregation and a couple of new helper congregations to work with us. If your religious community is looking for a hands-on opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families, we want to hear from you! Please call Sue Zomberg, our Community Resource Manager, at 215-628-2334 to learn more.
