03 Aug Family Promise Montco PA Receives PHARE Grant

As we announced at our 40th anniversary celebration in 2022, one of our major goals is to renovate and update the exterior of Hope Gardens, the 8-unit apartment building in Ambler that houses our transitional housing program. We’re thrilled to announce that we have received funding that sets us on the road toward that goal.

The grant was made through the Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement (PHARE) program. PHARE funding helps create, rehabilitate, and support affordable housing throughout the Commonwealth, targeting households below 50% of the median area income.

The total price tag for our renovation project is about 1.25 million, and we continue to raise funds toward that goal. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to making this dream a reality!
