02 Jul The 27th Annual Golf Tournament

Our annual golf tournament was a tremendous success! We had a beautiful, sunny day at Old York Road Country Club, with 119 golfers, 39 sponsors, 666 raffle tickets sold, and 14 volunteers helping us raise more than $46,000 to benefit our programs to address homelessness and hunger in our local community. Congratulations to the winning foursome—Rich Gould, Jack Hoesch, Geoffery Macturk, Peter Walters —and to the eight winners of the Super-Raffle!

The outing would not be possible without the talents of our golf committee, who have been meeting for months to plan the outing. Thank you to Rick Rodes (chair), Lei Barry, Shelia Carter, Erin Cohen, Gene Davidov, Bob Walters, and Tom Wynn for your hard work, generosity, and creativity.

Our faithful volunteers come back year after year to help—and we’re so glad they do. We also had new volunteers as well this year. Many thanks to Betty Bishop, Ginnie Davidov, Lauren Kellock, Cheryl Kurpiel, Rose Rivera-Hrosik, Teri McMasters, Eva O’Brien, Judy Rodes, Nancy Shaffer-End, Sherry Shoemaker, Suzy Troemel, Denise Walters, Nancy Wynn, Diane Zimmerman, and Sue Zomberg for helping in millions of ways!
