18 Feb Honoring Dr. King’s Legacy: A Community United in Faith, Justice, and Service
The Wissahickon Faith Community Association’s (WFCA) annual MLK Jr. Remembrance Service, held on Sunday, February 1, brought together community members from diverse houses of worship to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Sponsored by WFCA and the Suburban Baptist Association, the service was hosted by Bethlehem Baptist Church (BBC) and the Rev. Charles W. Quann, celebrating Dr. King’s enduring values of peace, justice, and equality.
The celebration offered an opportunity for community leaders and residents to recommit to Dr. King’s vision by strengthening relationships and inspiring collective action toward a more inclusive society. The keynote speaker was the Rev. Dr. Alyn E. Waller, senior pastor of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church.
