05 Jun Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month with Community, Culture, and Connection
On Saturday, May 3, the Jaisohn Community Wellness Plaza in Montgomery Township came alive with celebration as community members gathered to honor Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. Hosted by the AAPI Coalition, Jaisohn Center, and Bucks-Mont Collaborative, the event was a vibrant, family-friendly fair that welcomed people of all ages.
Guests enjoyed a lively mix of activities, including a resource expo, health screenings, cultural performances, and interactive entertainment. The day offered a meaningful opportunity to connect with local services while celebrating the rich traditions and contributions of AAPI communities.
Jennifer, Network Planning Coordinator and Assistant Food Pantry Manager, shared her experience, “It was a great day filled with performances, food, and over 25 vendors from local health and human services organizations. I was able to share a lot of information about our food pantry, and some guests were even asking about volunteer opportunities.” The event fostered a warm, inclusive space for learning, sharing, and celebrating culture—truly a day of unity and community spirit.
