27 Mar Advocating for Critical Issues in Bucks and Montgomery Counties

On February 5, community leaders from Bucks-Mont Collaborative’s Collaborative Advocacy Network (CAN) gathered in Harrisburg for an impactful Legislative Breakfast, engaging directly with state legislators to advocate for critical issues in our Montgomery County community.

Our Executive Director and CAN member, Marsha, along with others, focused on CAN’s policy priorities, particularly the need for increased support for affordable housing and a strong behavioral health care system. This event provided leaders with the opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with legislators, laying the foundation for long-term advocacy efforts.
