It’s Official!

July 2025

Dear Friends,

I’m excited to share that the official partnership between Family Promise Montco PA and Family Promise of the Main Line has now completed the legal process. Our united organization represents an intentional step forward to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and strengthen our support for families experiencing homelessness and hunger. We will move forward as Family Promise Montco PA, a name that honors our shared mission and deep roots in Montgomery County.

For the past year, our staff and boards of directors have collaborated under a management agreement. Through this process, we have aligned our efforts, leveraged our resources, and continued to deliver critical services to families in need. Now, as a single, stronger Family Promise, we’re building on that foundation to provide a more seamless and comprehensive safety net. Together, we are positioned to offer more to our community and amplify the impact of your support and involvement.

Our mission, values, and commitment to every family remain the heart of our work:

• All current locations are thriving: Our doors in Ambler, Norristown, and Roslyn will stay open and provide continued support—with more resources and opportunities available than ever before.
• Expanded housing options: Families will benefit from broader access to emergency and transitional shelter along with strengthened case management and support services.
• More prevention and stabilization mean greater impact: By building on our combined expertise, capacity, and resources, we’re better equipped to help more families avoid homelessness and move toward long-term stability.
• Stronger partnerships and advocacy: Our network of 66 partner congregations—along with thousands of dedicated volunteers, donors, and partners—gives us a more powerful platform to advocate for systemic change.
• A shared vision in action: Programs like Holiday Giving and Hope for Homes now reflect the collective compassion, innovation, and impact of working together as one team.
