Staff Spotlight: Sue Zomberg, Community Resource Manager

We are proud to welcome the wonderful Sue Zomberg as Community Resource Manager! Sue brings valuable experience and a spirit of service.

After earning a degree in social work from Juniata College, Sue began working with Seniors at the Senior Center in Philadelphia and then SAAC of Indian Valley, Souderton. She then worked in social services and admissions roles at several retirement communities. For the past ten years, Sue has been with Keystone Opportunity Center as the Interfaith Hospitality Network Program Director. Keystone is similar to the Network program at Inter-Faith; in fact, Keystone’s program was developed out of Inter-Faith’s network. In her role as Program Director, Sue expanded Keystone to serve two networks, added congregations in the Upper Bucks region, and helped implement the new Your Way Home Program and the Bucks County Housing Link.

When she’s not saving the world, Sue enjoys gardening, live music, golf, and spending time with her family. Sue’s up-for-anything attitude is exemplified by a family trip years ago to Universal Studios, where she joined her husband and three children as a contestant on the Nickelodeon’s “Slime Time Live.” They lost, and now know the green slime is very cold and (who knew?) tastes like applesauce!

From Sue: “I am excited to join the staff of Inter-Faith Housing Alliance because I believe in the mission to engage the community to help people in need. I’ve collaborated with Inter-Faith in the past, and have great respect for their accomplishments and their strong presence in the community… People are my passion, so I am excited to meet the Inter-Faith family and to start working with congregations, community volunteers, and donors.”

Welcome aboard!
