Volunteer Clearances

All individual volunteers must submit PA Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearances, in order to keep the families in our programs safe. If you already have clearances for work or another volunteer job, those clearances can be used as long as they are dated within the past 5 years.

If you are volunteering as part of a group, clearances are generally not required.

Instructions for obtaining clearances are below.

PA Criminal History Clearance

  • Choose ‘New Volunteer Record Check’
  • Volunteer Organization Name: Family Promise Montco PA
  • Volunteer Organization Telephone Number: (215) 628-2334
  • Complete the requested information

Child Abuse Clearance

If you have an account:

  • Click ‘individual login’
  • Print an existing copy or submit a new application

If you need to create an account:

  • Click ‘create individual account’
  • Select login ID and add all information required
  • You will be emailed a copy and/or can save the copy to your computer

Driver Clearance (only needed if you plan to drive for us)

  • Check the box on the bottom of the screen ‘I Certify…’
  • Input personal information
  • Select to purchase driving history of 3 years
  • Make payment
