Family Promise Food Pantry

The Family Promise Food Pantry is open 4 days a week to provide nutritious food, household supplies, and personal care items to low-income residents of Montgomery County. The pantry is located at 2801 Woodland Road in Roslyn on the campus of Salem Baptist Church. Visit our Contact page to see a map.

Current Needs

Food pantries across the country are facing two big challenges: more people need help, and government support is shrinking.

The USDA has cut funding for key programs that helped food banks and schools buy fresh, local food. In response, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is suing to restore this funding.

We’re turning to our community for support. Here’s how you can help:

• Donate items: We would be very grateful for donations from the list below.
• Donate money: Your dollars go further when we buy in bulk.
• Host a food drive: Rally your workplace, school, or neighborhood to collect non-perishable items.
• Volunteer your time: Help sort food, pack orders, or assist during pantry hours.
• Spread the word: Share this message to raise awareness.

Together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

• Canned meat (beef stew, Spam, Vienna Sausage, chicken, salmon, sardines, etc.)
• Canned hearty soups and broth
• Canned beans (baked beans, vegetarian beans, black beans, pinto beans, garbanzo beans, etc.)
• Breakfast cereal
• Oatmeal/grits
• Pancake mix and syrup
• Ramen noodles
• Chef Boyardee
