Ready to see what we accomplished together? We’re excited to share our accomplishments from the past year and the meaningful impact we've had on families experiencing homelessness and hunger across Montgomery County.

This past year, our united team across Montco and the Main Line worked together to provide greater certainty during uncertain times for families facing housing and food insecurity. By combining the strengths of our dedicated staff, strong board leadership, a network of 59 congregations, and long-standing community partnerships, we've expanded our ability to respond quickly, connect families with critical resources, and advocate for lasting solutions. Together, we provided 12,417 bed-nights of shelter and more than 226,000 pounds to our neighbors. As a community, we built a stronger, more compassionate Montgomery County.  

We also remain focused on helping families before shelter becomes their only option. Through our Food Pantry, rental assistance, supportive services, and connections to affordable resources, we're working to keep families in their homes and on a path toward stability.

We're deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our neighbors in the Main Line, Ambler, Abington, and beyond. Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us create lasting change, ensuring that children and families have a safe place to call home, reliable access to food, and the opportunity to thrive.

Your voice is an important part of our story. As we share the difference we're making together, we'd like to hear from you: If you could describe Family Promise's impact in one word, what would it be?

This month, we celebrate an important milestone as one of our transitional housing families, C. and his children, moved into permanent housing after two years of hard work, perseverance, and partnership with Family Promise. When C., a single father, first came to us, he and his children were experiencing homelessness. Through connections to vital community resources, including the local school district, Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard, and the YMCA, C. was able to secure employment and begin rebuilding stability for his family.

As he continued his journey, C. transitioned into Family Promise's transitional housing program, where affordable rent and ongoing support from his case manager provided the foundation for long-term success. Today, C. and his children have a place to call home in Ambler, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter. We are incredibly proud of all that he has accomplished and grateful to everyone who helped make this achievement possible.

Hope for Homes is just around the corner, and we hope you'll join us for one of the most inspiring evenings of the year. On Thursday, October 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr, community members and partners will come together to celebrate the power of hope and the impact we make when we come together. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, hear moving stories of resilience and transformation, and take part in an exciting live auction featuring Phillies tickets and a VIP tour, family experiences, golf outings, a wellness package, a weekend getaway, and more.

More than a fundraiser, Hope for Homes is an opportunity to stand alongside families facing homelessness and hunger. Funds raised support emergency shelter, housing stability programs, and services that help families build a path toward long-term self-sufficiency. Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, and donation made helps provide safety, stability, and hope for families working to create a brighter future. We look forward to seeing you on October 1 and celebrating the brighter futures being built through your support.

A big thank you to our summer intern, Michael, for the incredible contributions he made to Family Promise this summer! Michael developed two key tools that will help us work more efficiently by improving the way we track and analyze data, and by streamlining operations for our Food Pantry. His connection to Family Promise began years ago when he accompanied his grandfather as a volunteer, making this internship especially meaningful. Reflecting on his experience, Michael shared that his time with us was both fun and rewarding and that he felt connected to a supportive and adaptable team. We are grateful for the dedication, professionalism, and problem-solving skills he brought to our organization, and we thank him for the lasting impact he made.

Join us on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Manor House at Prophecy Creek in Ambler for the Blue Bell Horizons Celebration 2026, hosted by the Rotary Club of Blue Bell. Enjoy an evening of great food with a sit-down dinner featuring favorites from local restaurants, live music by The Fabulous Grease Band, and special guest emcee Jamie Apody of FOX 29 Sports. Guests can also take part in live and silent auctions, enter a restaurant gift certificate raffle, and help support local nonprofits, including Family Promise Montco PA. Join friends and neighbors for a fun evening that helps provide housing, food, and hope to families in need. We hope to see you there!

Our Family Promise team is proud to collaborate with community partners across Montgomery County to ensure families have the resources they need for a successful school year. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Progressive, we received a wide array of essential school supplies—from pens and rulers to scissors, folders, and notebooks. We’re also deeply grateful to Flourtown Presbyterian Church and Main Line Unitarian Church for their thoughtful donations of backpacks in every shape, size, and color, along with additional supplies to ensure students are fully prepared. We also extend our sincere thanks to Senator Maria Collett for hosting a Back to School Supply Drive and helping collect much needed items for local students and families.

These contributions are making an immediate impact, helping children from daycare through high school start the academic year equipped and confident. From our youngest learners to high school seniors, students are now ready to thrive, thanks to the support of our community partners. This is the power of partnership: coming together to ensure every child has what they need to succeed. Thank you!

This summer, we were delighted to welcome Keystone Technologies as a new community partner. After learning about the needs of families served through our housing programs and food pantry, the company responded with a generous donation of summer snacks and personal care items. Team members Jo, Megan, Natalia, Becky, Casey, Michael, Tange, CJ, Brian, Nick, Melissa, Steph, Courtney, and Josh came together to assemble snack bags filled with treats and essentials for local families. Their generosity, teamwork, and willingness to lend a helping hand made a difference. We are grateful to Keystone Technologies for choosing Family Promise as a community partner and for joining us in bringing hope, stability, and support to families in need.

Your kindness, hospitality, and dedication help create a warm and welcoming environment where families can truly feel at home during their stay. We are so grateful for the incredible volunteers who made move-in day a success and for the compassion your congregation shows to families experiencing housing instability.

Our Food Pantry is located at 2801 Woodland Road in Roslyn.

Food distribution occurs on Mondays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm.

Donations of food and other items are accepted on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. Please ensure that all items have labels, are within the expiration date, and are properly sealed.
