Stronger Impact Together

 *{{First Name}}* ,

As we begin a new year, we celebrate the meaningful impact made since officially uniting Family Promise of the Main Line and Family Promise Montco PA in July. This partnership has expanded resources, strengthened shared expertise, and increased our ability to serve families experiencing homelessness and hunger.  Together under one mission, we’ve shown that collaboration creates greater impact and opens doors to stability and hope for families.

You made it possible for us to finish the year strong.
Through holiday giving programs like Adopt-a-Family gift cards and special gifts, you brought joy to 54 families, 193 individuals including 130 children. This year, we served more individuals and more families than last year, our highest engagement ever. These achievements show what is possible when we work as one united organization. Watch the video and thank you for making it happen.

A Journey to Success

Just one month before coming to Family Promise, R. and her daughter A. were experiencing homelessness. During their stay in our emergency shelter program, A. enrolled in a new school where she quickly formed meaningful friendships and began to thrive. In a short period of time, R. achieved several important milestones. She overcame the challenge of obtaining a new photo ID, which opened the door to employment opportunities. After securing full-time employment, she began the search for a safe, stable home, and in less than 30 days of being employed, R. and A. joyfully moved into a two-bedroom home of their own.

Help Us Stock Our Shelves

We are running low on essential household items and need your help to restock our shelves. As families transition into housing, basic items make a big difference. Right now, we are asking for donations of twin bed sheets, paper towels, kitchen and contractor trash bags. These essentials help us provide comfort and stability for our families.

You can use our Amazon list to send your donation directly to us or drop off your donation at our Ambler office at 31 S. Spring Garden Street during business hours. Thank you for your support!

A Legacy of Service

For more than 20 years, Tom and his wife, Maxine, faithfully served with Family Promise, becoming beloved volunteers whose kindness touched so many lives. Tom was known as the kind gentleman who arrived on his designated nights with Applebee’s meals, always offering menus so families could choose their own dinners because he believed everyone deserved dignity and the simple joy of choice. His presence brought comfort, hope, and genuine connection during difficult times, leaving a lasting impact on both Jarrettown United Methodist Church and Family Promise. Tom recently passed away, and his legacy reflects a life of compassion, service, and deep faith. Maxine shared this same spirit of compassion, volunteering alongside Tom by providing transportation, support, and care. Together, they fostered more than 150 children and even welcomed a Family Promise graduate family into their home. Maxine also offered her warmth at Hope Gardens by babysitting for families during group discussions. Their lifelong dedication, generosity, and unwavering belief in people created a legacy of love and service that continues to inspire the community.

Amazing Generosity Brings Over 6,300 Pounds of Food

Since the beginning of November, Salem Baptist Church has shown extraordinary support for our Food Pantry. Week after week, donations poured in, and from November 2 through January 4, those efforts added up to an incredible 6,353 pounds of food! On Sundays, collections filled the sanctuary, a beautiful testament to the spirit of giving. These donations have helped fill our shelves and our hearts. The Food Pantry is here to help our neighbors.

Happy New Year from the Food Pantry! Let’s keep the momentum going in 2026. Visit our website for the list of needed items to restock our shelves.
