Did you know that one out of every four people who is homeless is a child? Or that families with children make up 40% of people in the U.S. who are homeless? We are celebrating Family Promise Week next week, October 16-23, to raise awareness of this national problem.

Our emergency shelter network is one of 202 Family Promise affiliates across the country that unite the faith community to help families experiencing homelessness. During the week ahead we will celebrate the congregations who give so generously of their time to help families in need. And YOU can help us celebrate, too, by signing up to volunteer with us!
