04 Oct Inter-Faith Housing Alliance Food Cupboard

Did you know Inter-Faith runs a food cupboard located at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Abington? The Food Cupboard provides a variety of foods to low-income residents of Montgomery County to reduce food insecurity and improve nutrition. It is a “choice” pantry where participants are able to select the foods that they are most likely to prepare and eat.

Our Food Cupboard relies on donations to provide food to Montgomery County residents in need. Donations of non-expired, non-perishable food items are gratefully accepted during food pantry hours or anytime at the Inter-Faith office. You can also organize a food drive to support those in need. This is a great learning and service opportunity for scout troops, youth groups, and local workplaces.

The Food Cupboard is now accepting donations for the Thanksgiving holiday in order for boxes to be ready for the Thanksgiving food distribution beginning on November 16th.
