Did you know that Inter-Faith Housing Alliance has a food cupboard located inside a section of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Abington? The food cupboard has been around since the beginning, serving community members experiencing food insecurity. A group of 25 volunteers manage the cupboard activities day-to-day.

The food cupboard is open Monday through Friday 11am-1pm. During that time, these dedicated individuals work diligently to check expiration dates, sort & shelve food, package food bags, and fill recipient requests. Once these volunteers start with us, they remain inspired and engaged for months and years to come.

We are thankful to have such dedicated volunteers at the food cupboard and in all of our programs!
